The Shire of Polderslot is the Dutch and Belgium branch of the Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA).
The SCA is an international organisation whose members re-create and research the Middle Ages. The world of the SCA is divided into Kingdoms. Europe, the Middle-East and Africa form the Kingdom of Drachenwald.

We organise a number of weekend events during the year. These events all have a specific theme, e.g., tourney, revel, meele-combat or crafts. Further we regularly have meetings for singing/music, dancing, fighting-practice and crafts.

All these activities we share with all the other SCA-dians around Drachenwald and the rest of the Known World. We make no difference in race, religion, gender or social background. The central idea is to have fun, share knowledge and be chivalrous.
